Kennedy Kuchinski is The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Highlighted Trainee Author for the December 2024 issue. Kuchinski is a first-year PhD student at the University of Michigan.

The JPET article that earned her the selection as a Highlighted Trainee Author is titled “Catalogue of Somatic Mutations in Cancer Database and Structural Modeling Analysis of CYP2D6 Mutations in Human Cancers” and is available at https://doi.org/10.1124/jpet.124.002136.

Although Kuchinski developed a passion for translational research during her undergraduate studies at Xavier University, she is exploring her options to determine the area of study she wants to focus on during her career. In her future, she foresees herself staying in academia.
