The Hilton Portland Downtown is the host hotel for the ASPET 2025 Annual Meeting. You must book your room through ASPET's registration website to receive the ASPET discounted rates. You cannot receive the ASPET discounted rates if you book through the hotel directly. Space is limited and additional hotels will be added once the Hiltons are sold out. Shuttles will not be provided between overflow hotels. ASPET will aim to book overflow hotels that are walkable to the Hilton.
The majority of meetings and events will take place at the Hilton Portland Downtown. A few small meetings will take place at the adjacent Duniway hotel.

The hotel is nine miles from the airport and steps to Pioneer Courthouse Square where guests can catch public transportation, putting all of Portland within easy reach. The Duniway offers 65-inch HD televisions, in-room Vittoria Coffee expresso machines, digital keys, a fitness center, an indoor pool and pet-friendly rooms (additional fee). In-room Wi-Fi is complimentary for ASPET guests. The hotel lobby includes a morning coffee bar and an evening lounge with classic cocktails, finely curated wines and local brew, as well as a trendy restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

The Portland International Airport (PDX) has consistently been on the top 10 list of the best airports by Travel + Leisure readers. PDX is served by more than 15 international and domestic airlines. PDX is located nine miles from the ASPET hotel, which is about 15-20 minutes by car. Taxis, Uber and Lyft service the airport. Rates vary depending on traffic and time of day but are estimated in the range of $35-$55 each way. The hotels do not offer shuttle service.
Portland’s user-friendly TriMet MAX Light Rail can take you from the airport to Pioneer Square North, which is two blocks from the Hiltons. At the airport, look for signs on the lower level outside of the south baggage claim area and take the MAX Red Line towards City Center/Beaverton. Light rail runs every 15 minutes or less for the approximately 45-minute ride downtown. Tickets are less than $3.00 per trip.

AMTRAKUnion Station, with its elegant architecture, 150-foot-tall clock tower and cheerful “Go By Train” neon sign, is a Portland landmark. It is served by Amtrak passenger trains with daily arrivals from Seattle, Vancouver, Eugene, Ore., Spokane, Sacramento and other scenic routes. The station is located less than a mile from the Hilton and can be reached by taxi, Uber/Lyft or the Max light rail yellow or green line to the Pioneer Courthouse/SW 6th Ave. stop, which is two blocks from the hotel.
LIGHT RAILThe MAX Light Rail system not only can get you back and forth to the airport, it can also take you all over the city for less than $3.00 per ride or $6.00 for a day pass. STREETCARRide Portland’s sleek and modern streetcar to explore the local neighborhoods such as the Pearl District or Nob Hill neighborhood, for shopping, dining, museums and other entertainment. The street car operates from about 7:30 am to 11:30 pm for $2 per ticket or a $5 all-day pass, but check their website for exact times. The closest stop to the Hilton is at the Central Library stop at Yamhill St. and 10th Ave. (0.2 miles) or SW Taylor stop at Taylor St. and 11th Ave. (0.2 miles). Parking The Hilton Portland Downtown offers only valet parking (no self-parking). The fee as of September 2024 is $55 per day. Check for updated rates on the Hilton’s website. The Duniway, a Hilton Hotel offers self-parking for $33 per day and valet parking for $55 per day (as of Sept 2024).
Portland has miles upon miles of protected bike lanes and partners with Biketown Bike-Share and several e-scooter companies for short-term, pay-as-you-go rentals.
