Dr. Cecilia Bouzat was approved by the Board of Publications Trustees to serve as an associate editor for Molecular Pharmacology. Dr. Bouzat is the director of the Instituto de Investigaciones Bioquímicas de Bahía Blanca in Argentina. She is a research member of the National Research Council of Argentina and an associate professor of pharmacology with the Universidad Nacional del Sur.

Dr. Bouzat has served on the Editorial and Advisory Board of Molecular Pharmacology since 2013. She is a former member of the editorial board of The Open Structural Biological Journal and is a current member of the Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology editorial board. Dr. Bouzat has published nearly 100 journal articles and 2 book chapters. She has presented invited lectures through the Americas, in Europe, and in the UK.
