The TCP Executive Committee is currently accepting applications for the following volunteer positions. Volunteering on a committee is a great way to become more involved in the division and ASPET.
Open Volunteer Positions
Executive Committee – Junior Member
Responsibilities include:
- Learning the position for eventual movement to full membership (voting) of the Executive Committee of the TCP Division
- Helping to foster a relationship with the trainee and junior members of the TCP Division
- Helping to develop mentoring programs and opportunities, with the Executive Committee
Awards Sub-Committee Member
Responsibilities include:
- Trainee poster presentations/judging at the annual meeting
- Ray Fuller Award sub-committee (selection and planning
- Junior Faculty Showcase at the annual meeting (selection)
Programming Sub-Committee Member
Responsibilities include:
- Helping the Executive Committee in planning and programming for the annual meeting
Communications Sub-Committee Member
Responsibilities include:
- Helping with development and maintenance of TCP website
- Dissemination of divisional information for TCP members
- Development and implementation of new mechanisms to communicate with TCP division members, ASPET and general public
- Promotion of TCP division on social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
Communications Co-Chair
Responsibilities include:
- Learning the position for eventual movement to the Communications Officer, and training the following Co-Chair
- Dissemination of divisional information for TCP members
- Development and implementation of new mechanisms to communicate with TCP division members, ASPET and general public
- Promotion of TCP division on social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
- Helping to maintain the TCP website
- Being an active and participating (voting) member of the Executive Committee
