By the end of the session participants will be able to describe how their research success includes personal leadership, self-advocacy, mentoring, sponsorship, and negotiation. During this session, we will highlight how to ‘decode’ power dynamics and facilitate your personal success as a researcher, scientist and expert in your field. After a brief presentation, there will be an interactive session and group discussion. Participants are encouraged to bring examples, scenarios, and questions that will enrich this session.
