Congratulations to the TCP Division Poster and Oral Competition Winners

The Division for Translational and Clinical Pharmacology would like to recognize our young scientists who attended the ASPET Annual Meeting at EB 2021 and participated in our poster or oral competitions.  The judges were very impressed with the science and presentations this year.

Poster Competition Awards

Each year, the ASPET Student-Postdoc Poster Competition showcases and recognizes the highest quality scientific work submitted by ASPET’s young scientist members. Congratulations to the 2021 winners:

Graduate and Post-baccalaureate Students:

1st place: Nicholas Ether, Michigan State University
“Which QT Correction Method is Most Consistent?”

2nd place: Sana Khajehpour, Idaho State University
“Identifying and Validating Plasma Circulating Renin-Angiotensin System Components as Reliable Biomarkers of Rheumatoid Arthritis.”

3rd place: Javiera Cortés, Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile
“Dosing Time Optimization of Enalapril and Propranolol through Inclusion of the Circadian Rhythm in Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic Modeling.”

Oral Competition Awards

The division invites top scoring abstracts submitted by young scientists to present in the Division for Translational and Clinical Pharmacology Early Career Showcase. Congratulations to the 2021 winner:

1st Place: Jia Nong, University of Pennsylvania
“Nanocarriers Targeting Intercellular Adhesion Molecule Enhance Delivery to the Inflamed Brain.”
