Abstract Acceptance Notification Schedule
Notifications about acceptance of abstracts submitted by November 30th were sent on February 3rd. Additional information will be sent on February 15th. Notifications about acceptance of Last Chance abstracts will be sent on February 22nd.
We welcome submission of abstracts to ASPET topic categories in all areas of pharmacology detailing your latest work.
By submitting your abstract, you will:
- Receive feedback on your work
- Be recognized for your recent scientific advances
- Be visible to spur those conversations about collaboration
- Have opportunities to win awards (for students and postdocs)
ASPET helps bring other scientists to you to discuss your work. Top scoring abstracts are designated as Program Committee Blue Ribbon Picks and are selected to give oral presentations at the ASPET Daily Datablitz, in a new ASPET hot topics symposium,
and in division platform showcases. Additionally, selected ASPET posters will be highlighted at the EB-wide welcome reception.
ASPET regular, postdoc, and emeritus members can both submit their own work or sponsor the work of graduate students, undergraduates, and non-members. ASPET graduate student members may submit their own work but cannot sponsor others.
Submit your research to an ASPET topic category
Award eligibility is based on student and postdoc submission to ASPET topic categories by the November 30, 2021, the EB submission deadline. Be sure your ASPET membership is in good-standing to be eligible.
How to be considered for ASPET Oral Presentations
Abstracts submitted by November 30, 2021 by students and postdocs may also be considered for an oral presentation in related symposia, division platform sessions, hot topics symposia, or the ASPET Daily Datablitz sessions. If selected for oral presentation,
you will also be scheduled to present a poster. If your accepted abstract is not selected for an oral presentation, you will still be scheduled for a poster. No separate application is needed. When submitting your abstract to EB, be sure to select
an ASPET topic category and be sure your ASPET membership is in good standing.

Poster Format – More ways to connect
Accepted abstracts will receive instructions for creating both a poster to present in-person in Philadelphia as well as a virtual poster that will be available for registered EB attendees to view online for a limited time. Both presentation formats
will include opportunities for others to connect with you to ask questions about your research. Alert: Poster board sizes are changing! Please be sure to check the instructions sent with your abstract acceptance in February
