Dear Members of the Division of Cardiovascular Pharmacology:

The Executive Committee for the ASPET Division of Cardiovascular Pharmacology convened at the EB03 meeting to discuss, among other things, how to improve the Division’s web site. In this regard, we need your help to achieve an important objective:

To provide “pre-packaged” lectures on topics in cardiovascular pharmacology: We would like to construct a new feature on the Division’s web site entitled “Lectures on Demand.” What we envision is a menu of PowerPoint lectures on topics in cardiovascular pharmacology/physiology. These lectures would be contributed to the Division by Divisional members who have put together quality presentations for their own students (pre-doctoral, post-doctoral, medical, pharmacy, dental, veterinarian, and nursing) and who wish to share the fruits of their labors with others. Educators will be able to download the lectures, modify them appropriately and use the lectures for educational purposes. This would provide a fabulous resource, particularly for busy professors with new teaching assignments in cardiovascular pharmacology. If you have lectures you would like to share with the Division, please e-mail your presentations (PowerPoint files) to me at edj@pitt.edu along with your name, institution and a brief description of the lecture. I will make sure that your lecture is posted on our web site (along with due credit to the author). Please make sure that any contribution does not contain material that requires copyright clearance.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards,

Edwin K. Jackson, Ph.D.
